All of my life, there were times I wish there was someone with me, sometimes for things as simple as turning off the light so I don’t have to get up, and other times to listen, or hold me while I fall apart.
I like to practice being what I want to see in the world, so let me be that person for you.
With a caring companion at your side, you can have someone to share a meal with, to join you on a skydiving adventure, to help you process a loved one’s death. Whatever it is, I can be there with you so you don’t have to go through it alone.
The thing that has always meant the most, is when people are just there for me, with me. What can I offer that is worth more than that which is most precious to me?
The offer is simple, yet expansive. I offer you, me.
Patient, perceptive; fierce, and focused. Reliable, thoughtful, and most importantly, kind.
While I’d like to write trustworthy, the reality is that will need to be built over time, because hey, we’re strangers. (:
What is caring companionship exactly? It’s whatever it needs to be.
I’ve been curious and explorative of this whole life thing for a long time, and have accumulated a vast and varied skillset that I find quite valuable. I’d like to now share what I’ve learned.
What have you always wanted?
What are those moments when you wish someone was right there next to you?

Application for The Work
This is an important part of the process. Take it seriously.
Begin listening to the soft voice inside. That's a good starting place.
I'm Kris, and Kale is my middle name. Seriously! I strive to live up to the vegetable, to be hearty and nourishing, as well as a great source of fiber.
I've played collegiate rugby, performed as an improvisational dancer, and worked as a 911 EMT. Oh, and I've been facilitating healing experiences for people for the last 15+ years. My adventures have taught me that people really open up when they are seen, heard, and understood. So that's what I do. I walk with people into the dark forest of their souls and then we see what's there and we work with that, because that's where the good stuff is, the stuff that matters.
True catharsis doesn't arrive until we address the things swept under the rug, usually the experiences that were too much to process in the moment so we continued on, leaving a stickie note as a reminder to come back later and deal with it. Gratefully, when we do the work often everything else falls gently into place. Creativity is renewed, the body is energized, one feels alive again.
Perhaps now is finally that time. Are you ready?
